  1. AN ALTER MANIFESTO, Kiefer Hablitzel, Swiss Art Awards, Basel, 2018

Genders’ equality does not rely on kindness or bad will of men, nor does it depend on self-confidence or women’s individualism; it’s about the nature of institutions. The subjection of women to men is unbearable; it’s time for us to take back our bodies, often controlled, possessed and denied. By using as weapons our situations we’re revealing institutional and intellectual weaknesses. We are undermining binary relationships of domination and therefore, we’re activating new alternative models; we are multiplying consciousness.

My sculptures are my body, my body is plural. To multiply oneself leads to multiply collective intelligence and knowledge. It is a way to free oneself from the constraints of prejudices and body. Thus, we’ll multiply ourselves and will be millions of alter egos. We are ready to fight against what stands as an obstacle for the work and the creativity of women.

I multiplied myself. We are six. Both combative and grotesque, we know our weapons, because we’ve understood that it is up to us to decide how we want to represent women’s body.

  3. COOKING IS DWELLING WITHOUT A HOUSE, La Placette, with EmmaTheGreat, Deborah Z3 and Stéphanie Rosianu, Lausanne, 2017
